I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Physics, curriculum Condensed Matter Physics. Currently I am a PhD Student in Nanotechnology, carrying out my research in the STRAS Laboratory at CNR-IOM. The main techniques I'm working with are Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy and Scanning Tunnelling Spectroscopy. I’ve worked also with other surface science technique such as X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Low-Energy Electron Diffraction, Low-Energy Electron Microscopy, Photoemission Electron Microscopy and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy. My research is currently focused on the synthesis and characterization of boron based 2D materials.
